ENOM Maintenance

Enom will be undergoing a data center migration for a period of 12 hours. This period will be between 6AM PST and 6PM PST on January 15th.

This is affecting a subset of our clients using Enom DNS services. Our Engineering team is actively working on a solution and all updates will be posted here.

https://enomstatus.com/ is the maintenance post at ENOM and lists what services will be affected during this maintenance window.

UPDATE 8:30 PM EST: At this time Enom has updated their status post and has extended their maintenance window to 12AM PST (3AM EST)

UPDATE 03:15 AM EST: Enom is extending our maintenance window through 6AM PST (9AM EST). We will keep you informed of further updates we receive. Thank you for your continued patience in this matter!

Update - 3:00 PM EST Enom has extended its maintenance. Their engineering team expects to resolve the DNS issues within the next few hours.

UPDATE 04:15 AM EST, January, 17 : eNom has completed the extended maintenance period and eNom engineering team continues to remediate customer-facing issues and certify the correct operation of their platform. a2ls3.a2hosting.com is currently experiencing a service interruption. Users hosted on this server will experience service degradation as a result. Our System Operations team is investigating the root cause of this interruption. We will provide updates as more details are made available.

Update 2:35AM: Our System Operations team was able to identify and resolve the root cause of this interruption. Services for a2ls3 are once again available and no further interruptions are planned.

Our System Operations team is initiating a FSCK (file system check) on nlss8.a2hosting.com. Users hosted on this server may experience service degradation as a result. We will provide updates as more details are made available.

Amsterdam Data Center :: Intermittent Speed & Connectivity Issues

Our Network Engineering team is currently investigating reports of intermittent connectivity & speed issues in our Amsterdam data center. Our Network Engineering team is aware of this issue and working diligently to rectify the situation. We will provide further updates as they're made available.

UPDATE 10:46 AM EST: Our Network Engineering team made an adjustment to address the intermittent connectivity and speed issues in our Amsterdam data center. We will continue to monitor the network and situation closely. Please contact our Support team directly if you continue to experience issues.

[RESOLVED] Airtel Internet Service Provider :: Network Connectivity interruption

We would like to inform you that we are getting reports of connectivity issues affecting a significant subset of customers from India on our Shared/Reseller/VPS platforms.

It has been found that there is a problem with the specific Indian Internet service provider - Airtel. There are multiple complaints reported for the last few hours, you can refer to this page:

Unfortunately, there is no announcement on the official Airtel Twitter page, but there are multiple complaints from their customers in this thread:

We're looking into this issue and we will provide updates as we know more.

UPDATE 11:00PM EST: The situation with the provider has improved significantly and we have fewer reports of any issues. However, we are continuing to monitor the situation and will update this thread as more information becomes available to us.

UPDATE 3:10AM EST, January 14th:  We haven't seen new reports for a while now, the situation with Airtel has been improved significantly since our last update. UPDATE 11:56 AM EST: Our System Engineers made an adjustment to address the intermittent connectivity issues in our Amsterdam datacenter. If you continue to experience issues please contact our support team directly.

UPDATE 3:23 PM EST: We are still seeing a small subset of customers still affected by this incident, we are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

UPDATE 5:00 PM EST: We are receiving reports of connectivity issues in our Amsterdam datacenter at this time. Our System Engineers are currently investigating this and further information will be provided once they become available.

UPDATE 7:00 PM EST (1:00 AM Amsterdam): Our Network Engineers have restored connectivity to some of the affected servers and are working on the rest. We will post updates as more information is made available. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding in this regard.

UPDATE 11:00 PM EST (4:00 AM Amsterdam): The connectivity issue was linked to an unscheduled emergency provider maintenance and a subset of customers are still affected at this time.  We are currently working with the provider as to ensure everything is back up and running. Multiple Shared/Reseller/Turbo servers are currently experiencing a MySQL service interruption. Users hosted on these servers will experience MySQL service degradation as a result.
